Another chance to ask Questions
Our question time for bands was so successful that we have
been asked to do it again. [See 1st March, below].
The next Bands Question Time will be held on Saturday
12th May. Taking place between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at The Shed, Yeoman
Street, Leicester, LE1 1UT, this session will be for bands and their members
but will also focus on solo singers.
A panel of industry experts will be on hand to answer questions
about how to make your band - or yourself as a solo artist - more successful.
Entry to the event event is free. It will start at 1 p.m.

New page - our rostered artists
ArtsIn Production has today published a new page on this
web site, listing those artists that we work with. Our management services and
agency services have started only recently but will increase later in the year.

First artists signed up
ArtIn Productions has signed our first band to our Artist
Management Service. We have also taken on our first solo act to our Agency Service.

Question Time for musicians
Following the success of our workshop for young musicians
(see below), ArtsIn Productions will put on a Bands Question
Time session on Saturday
7th April. A panel of industry experts will be available to answer questions
from the audience about how bands work in the local music scene.
Entrance to the event is free and it starts at 1 p.m. and
finishes at 2 p.m. Afterwards there will be a gig for young bands. The event
will be held at the The Shed venue in Yeoman Street, Leicester.
13th February
Workshops for bands
ArtsIn Productions is to offer a special workshop
for band members aged 18 or under. The event is to be held at The Shed Live Music
venue on Saturday 18th February, 2012. Starting at 1 p.m., the free workshop
will explain how a band can organise, make effective publicity for itself
and its shows, attract more fans and get bookings.

ArtsIn Productions is current providing services to the arts
and entertainment sectors:
- Publication of the online magazine ArtsIn Leicester/shire.
- Artist Management - providing business management for bands
- Agency - acting as agents for individual artists
- Workshops for bands and musicians
- PR and marketing for artists including press releasing, media packs and marketing
projects
- Exhibitions - our current exhibition displays the imagery of live music in
Leicester.
More services are planned and these will be available later
in 2012.
